As a long-time leader in the nonprofit community, Elizabeth Badger is grateful to fulfill a passion for philanthropy as Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation of Maine. Through her work at CFM, she is committed to strengthening the impact of donor giving to organizations that help others—including Catholic ministries, parishes, and schools. She and the Board of Trustees of the Foundation are inspiring charitable giving and managing the investments to grow the Foundation and support the Church for generations.
For Elizabeth, facilitating dreams that help others is a joyful ministry. She has served non profit organizations for nearly 25 years, providing strategic direction in fundraising, administration, cultivating donors, leading teams, fostering strong networks, and implementing policies to improve philanthropic giving. In the changing landscape of non profits, Elizabeth’s leadership has successfully increased resources, built and reorganized service delivery, and resulted in growth and satisfaction in challenging times. "I believe that helping others is in all of our hearts." Elizabeth attended Catholic elementary and high school and excelled in public speaking, science, math, art and sports. She has an MBA in Organizational Management and Leadership from St. Joseph’s College as well as a Bachelors degree from SUNY Albany in Communications and Fine Arts. Elizabeth serves as a volunteer chaplain, is an accomplished iconographer and artist, and a member of her parish choir. |
